SPRING 2014: SCOTT BAKULA CAST IN 'NCIS' SPINOFF

NCIS' planned spinoff has found its main star.

If you haven't heard yet, NCIS is planning another spinoff in its franchise, and this time it will be based in New Orleans. News broke today that Scott Bakula, who is currently on HBO's Looking and was featured in the cable network's Liberace bio, Behind The Candelabra, has been cast in the lead role. Bakula will play Special Agent Pride and will demonstrate the very essence of New Orleans.

NCIS: New Orleans, or NCIS: NOLA, we're not exactly sure how they are going to title it, will be the hub of cases that affect the areas of Pensacola, Mississippi, Louisiana, and up to the Texas panhandle. The setting makes a lot of sense considering the military population bordering the Gulf. The spinoff pilot will air this spring as a two-parter on NCIS.

WINTER 2014: 'REVENGE' CASTS GAIL O'GRADY AS CONRAD'S FIRST WIFE

ABC's Revenge is about to become a little bit more dramatic...devious, dirty, soapy...in the next couple of episodes with the impending arrival of Blake Carrington's Conrad Grayson's first wife.

Gail O'Grady, who had notable roles on NYPD Blue and American Dreams, has been cast as the first ex-Mrs. Grayson. Details are mum about the character, including her name, but she'll come rolling into the Hamptons by the show's 13th episode, which is scheduled for January 19, 2014. The character's unexpected arrival will take Conrad and Victoria, the current Mrs. Grayson, by surprise and Revenge's showrunner teases that the ex-Mrs. Grayson will bring many secrets and bombshells.

WINTER 2014: 90210'S ANNALYNNE MCCORD JOINS 'DALLAS'

Production is starting up on the Southfork Ranch in Texas as Dallas begins taping its third season. Despite the passing of actor Larry Hagman and his scheming character J.R. Ewing, the drama will continue with more complications for key characters.

AnnaLynne McCord, most recently seen on the now-defunct 90210 reboot, will appear on Dallas as Heather, a ranch hand who has somehow survived in that particular male-dominated line of work. The role, which is a drastic change from Naomi Clark on everyone's favorite zip code, will also serve as a love interest for Christopher Ewing and complicate the current triangle or quadrangle that was left at the end of last season. 

The new season of Dallas will start sometime in early 2014 on TNT.

FALL 2013: 'ARROW' CASTS ITS VILLAINOUS AMANDA WALLER

The CW's superhero series Arrow is digging into the DC Comics vault and integrating one of the top villains into its sophmore season.

Cynthia Addai-Robinson, most recently seen in Starz's Spartacus, has been cast as Amanda Waller. DC Comics fans will recognize Amanda Waller as the big baddie who heads the Suicide Squad. In Arrow, Waller will be part of A.R.G.U.S., a covert agency that has vital information about the Arrow. The character will be introduced during the sixth episode of the series, just weeks after Bronze Tiger, another Suicide Squad member, is introduced. It appears that the Suicide Squad will play heavily into the show's second season. 

Last month, we posted the news of The Flash being introduced in episodes 8 and 9 of the show, and returning towards the end of the season in a backdoor pilot episode.
