FALL 2013: ESQUIRE NETWORK TO DEBUT

Get ready for your cable box to make space for one more channel this fall. Well actually if you had G4 then you already have the space. NBCUniversal will add another channel to its immense and mostly forgettable cable television line-up. The Esquire Network is set to debut September 23rd and will be geared towards, not surprisingly, men. But this channel will be different because it is aimed towards the sophisticated men...not the Joe Six-Pack type of men.

Details are still sketchy on its line-up of shows but it will be a mix of new, original programs and NBC reruns. According to its website, the original shows include Knife Fight (chefs battle each other in an underground cooking fight club), The Getaway (follow celebrities to their favorite travel destinations just to hate on them a little more), Brew Dogs, Risky Listing, and How I Rock It.

Reruns of Parks and Recreation, American Ninja Warrior, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and long-ago canceled Starz show Party Down, are also being advertised as part of the new network's schedule. We'll see how long this venture lasts before being re-branded into another channel.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: 'FULL HOUSE' ON JIMMY FALLON

Last night was a reunion of sort for fans of ABC's Full House, courtesy of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. While not exactly a well-kept secret for the past week, buzz filtered through social media that fictitious 'Uncle' Jesse Katsopolis and his band, The Rippers, were reuniting for a one-night performance.

Sporting the trademark outfit and moussed up hairstyle, Jesse and The Rippers performed a medley of their hits, including their Beach Boys remake Forever, as well as ending the performance with the the Full House theme song. The element of surprise, however, was still present when actor Bob Saget (Danny Tanner from the show) was spotted in the audience, and at the end of the performance, actress Lori Loughlin came out from backstage, in full character as Jesse's wife Becky, to hug and kiss her husband.

It was a cheesefest...but one that '90s fans truly loved. We've included video of the performance below.

WACKY WEDNESDAY!.......JESSE AND THE RIPPERS REUNITE

Full House fans can rejoice...or at least re-live the '90s when Jesse and The Rippers return to late night television this week.

People magazine has confirmed that actor John Stamos's character, "Uncle" Jesse Katsopolis, and his band The Rippers will reunite and perform this Friday, July 19 on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The fictional band was a staple during the show's eight-season run on ABC. Rumors started after John Stamos posted an Instagram video of the group singing the Full House theme song.

This wouldn't be the first time fictitious characters have reunited or returned to television through Jimmy Fallon's show. Previous appearances by Mark-Paul Gosselaar as the Zack Morris character from Saved by the Bell, and the cast of California Dreams have passed through the late night vehicle.
