WW: 'THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW' REUNITES ON 'HOT IN CLEVELAND'

TV Land's Hot in Cleveland closes out its fourth season tonight in true Mary Richards style.

The 1-hour season finale focuses on Elka and Mamie (Betty White and Georgia Engel) reuniting their old bowling team and its members, played by Mary Tyler Moore, Valerie Harper, and Cloris Leachman. Fans of the classic newsroom sitcom will recognize the actresses as their Mary Tyler Moore Show counterparts Mary Richards, neighbors Rhoda Morgenstern and Phyllis Lindstrom, friend Georgette Franklin, and co-worker/nympho Sue Ann Nivens.

The episode was filmed in the spring of 2013 shortly after Valerie Harper had announced her diagnosis of terminal cancer. Emotions therefore were running particularly high during the reunion, especially for Moore and Harper, who have maintained a strong friendship for more than 40 years.

Hot in Cleveland's season finale airs tonight at 10 pm.

DARK HORSE COMICS BREATHES NEW LIFE INTO CULT FAVORITE 'FIREFLY'

Fans of the short-lived FOX space drama Firefly have been clamoring for a reunion or revival ever since it was cancelled in 2002. Though the show only lasted for 14 episodes, the fan base of the Joss Whedon production has only increased thanks to reruns and the release of the complete series on DVD. Well fans are about to see their wishes come true...sort of.

Dark Horse Comics has been teasing fans on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram about the return of Mal and the Serenity crew in an upcoming continuation of the show. It wouldn't be the first time that Dark Horse Comics has continued the life of a cancelled television show. Other popular Joss Whedon productions, Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and Angel, gave fans new seasons after leaving the airwaves. Though it can't beat a live-action reunion of the departed shows, comic books bring forth a new life for the characters and allows the writers to tell stories of great magnitude, which normally couldn't be confined within the budget of a television show.

No exact date has been given yet for the Firefly release...but Stay Tuned for future updates.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: 'FULL HOUSE' ON JIMMY FALLON

Last night was a reunion of sort for fans of ABC's Full House, courtesy of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. While not exactly a well-kept secret for the past week, buzz filtered through social media that fictitious 'Uncle' Jesse Katsopolis and his band, The Rippers, were reuniting for a one-night performance.

Sporting the trademark outfit and moussed up hairstyle, Jesse and The Rippers performed a medley of their hits, including their Beach Boys remake Forever, as well as ending the performance with the the Full House theme song. The element of surprise, however, was still present when actor Bob Saget (Danny Tanner from the show) was spotted in the audience, and at the end of the performance, actress Lori Loughlin came out from backstage, in full character as Jesse's wife Becky, to hug and kiss her husband.

It was a cheesefest...but one that '90s fans truly loved. We've included video of the performance below.

Be on the lookout this coming Monday morning because the morning talk show circuit will most likely eat this up. And remember to Stay Tuned to our blog and Facebook page for future updates with anything and everything television!
