A 'LOST' REUNION AT NEXT YEAR'S COMIC-CON?
Could a Lost reunion be in the works for next year's San Diego Comic-Con?
Actor Michael Emerson, who played wickedly smart 'Others' leader Ben Linus on the show, hinted that next year's Comic-Con might be the setting for a reunion to mark the show's 10-year anniversary. There have been mumblings throughout the show's former ensemble cast and given the success of reunions at this year's Comic-Con, highlighted by the eventful The X-Files panel session, some actors are game to give what the fans want.
With many of the former Lost actors currently working on shows featured at Comic-Con like Person of Interest, Once Upon a Time, and the upcoming Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, it wouldn't be a difficult feat to reunite the cast, producers, and creators for a celebratory anniversary.

THE LITTLE MERMAID COMES TO 'ONCE UPON A TIME'
During the panel session at Comic-Con, Once Upon a Time producers offered details of what will be coming up the pike in the show's third season. The not-so-secret integration of Peter Pan and the world of Neverland was at the top of the list. Producers emphasized that this characterization of Peter Pan will take a darker form, possibly evil. The surprising news, however, was the revelation that another Disney princess would be making her debut in the new season. This time it's Ariel, the little mermaid's turn which was pretty much confirmed with this sneak peek video release. Check it out below.
Once Upon a Time returns Sunday, September 29 on ABC.

SDCC: 'SUPERNATURAL' SPIN-OFF
Supernatural is the latest show to plan a spin-off. According to the information revealed at Comic-Con, the spin-off will anchored by a character introduced on Supernatural around the 20th episode. The episode will serve as the pilot of the proposed spin-off, which hopes to become a picked-up series for the 2014 season.
The spin-off is proposed to take place in a city landscape, as opposed to the current setting of Supernatural. It will be interesting to see if The CW will go through with these proposed plans. Meanwhile, Supernatural will begin its ninth season on October 15, and no word yet if one or both Winchester boys will be making an appearance in the proposed spin-off.

SDCC: 'REVOLUTION' SEASON 2 SNEAK PEEK
NBC's Revolution is scheduled to return for its sophmore season on September 25. Fans at Comic-Con were treated to the season two trailer that explains where the show is headed next after last season's breathtaking season finale.
Revolution completely retooled its original premise after the first half of its first season. The twists and turns created a lot of confusion and cost the show some fans. It did finally settle on a storyline and stuck with it through last spring's finale and will be resolved in the upcoming fall premiere. While the lights do come back on as a result of the nuclear attack, don't expect it to last very long. Revolution returns with a new look and a new backdrop, Austin, Texas, and the big baddie of the season is so lethal that enemies Monroe and Miles will have to join forces to defeat the Patriots group.

While no specifics were given on the nature of the special episode, the planned crossover will take place on The Simpsons either for its finale next May or as the 2014 season premiere.
Finally, the Family Guy panel at Comic-Con revealed its future plans including integrating Cleveland Brown and his family back into the Quahog fold now that The Cleveland Show was not renewed. COMIC-CON SCOOP! MARIA HILL LIVES ON IN JOSS WHEDON'S 'AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
Today was another fun-filled day at Comic-Con and within all the panels and Q&A sessions, it was revealed that a familiar face will be reprising her role for Joss Whedon's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Actress Cobie Smulders is scheduled to once again portray Agent Maria Hill on the new action series when it premieres this fall. Smulders originated the role in last year's hit The Avengers, and is rumored to be participating in the long-awaited sequel. Smulders will be the second original cast member of the movie to join Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Clark Gregg is signed-on to resurrect his character Agent Phil Coulson.
Now before you jump for joy over the news there is a downside to the story. Smulders is only scheduled to reprise Maria Hill for the show's pilot episode. As TV fans may recognize, Smulders is still under contract to perform in How I Met Your Mother's final season on CBS this fall. Despite her appearance on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. being a one-shot, there is a possibility that the actress and character could appear in future episodes. Regardless, it is still a casting coup that will further pique fans' interest in the show.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is scheduled to premiere on September 24.

HOLY THROWBACK THURSDAY BATMAN!!
Since San Diego Comic Con International officially kicks off today and lasts throughout the weekend, we thought it would only be appropriate to highlight a classic superhero show from the past. Within the last 45 years, there have been numerous live-action television shows featuring mostly DC Comics superheroes. Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and Green Arrow have been brought to the small screen in one incarnation or various, as is the case with the Man of Steel. Today, however, we decided to focus on the 1966 classic Batman!
The live-action Batman series may be dated but nothing can beat its wholesome, entertainment, family-friendly battle of good versus evil. Yes, the costumes were a hoot. Who could forget Robin wearing green tighties and those elf shoes? Or how about The Joker painted white in his pink suit? And some of the situations the heroes got into were unforgettable. Remember Batman dancing the Batusi? The Joker tying up Batman and Robin to a lethal slot machine? Batgirl driving her motorcycle with all the frilly lace around the face shield? But the best part of the show was its creativity. Who didn't want to own a sliding pole that changed your outfits with a push of a button? You know you recreated those scenes on the playground. We all craved for a utility belt that held any-and-everything you could think of, plus more. And that Batcave was pretty freakin' sweet! The car was rotated mechanically and then had that secret entrance.
We've included the first episode of the series that features the famous Batusi.
Adam West and Burt Ward were cast as Batman and Robin for the entire three-year run. You might ask "Is that the same Adam West who does voice work on Family Guy?" The answer is simple. Yup. It is. If the costumes and neat-o technology for that era wasn't appealing enough for viewers then Batman grabbed them with its guest casting. The show drew Hollywood royalty to play the "Special Guest Villain" roles. Screen legends Burgess Meredith, Cesar Romero, Anne Baxter, and Victor Buono were just some of the names who appeared in the show's first season.
Batman's popularity soared after its premiere year and continued strong in its sophmore year. By the show's third year, however, ratings and interest had declined as the television landscape was transitioning from fantasy to more realistic, socially aware programming. Attempts in reinvigorating the show and attracting female viewers with the addition of the Batgirl character were futile and the show ended after the third season.
Though the live-action '60s series may have ended after three years, Adam West and Burt Ward would be forever associated with the Batman and Robin characters and would reprise those roles throughout the '70s in animation with The New Adventures of Batman and Super Friends, and in live-action with the short-lived special, Legends of the Superheroes.

SAN DIEGO COMIC CON PREVIEW NIGHT! WHAT'S COMING OUT?
Well folks, tonight is the preview night that kicks of San Diego Comic Con International 2013 and several studios and companies are already filtering information on goodies to be released during the second half of this year.
The awesome people from Shout! Factory have made a huge announcement that would knock the socks off any Power Rangers fan. Scheduled to be released (tentatively) on December 3 of this year, Power Rangers Legacy: The First 20 Years will available and in that neat-o red helmet packaging at the top of the page. As the title indicates, this set will contain all 20 years of the Power Rangers TV series, from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to Power Rangers Megaforce, on (an astonishing!) 98 discs. Also included will be a 6 DVD set of bonus materials including interviews previously released, brand-new featurettes, and new archived material. You can sign-up for e-mail notifications of when the set will be available for pre-order through Shout! Factory's website (Shout! Factory Power Rangers Legacy Sign-Up!). The limited edition Legacy set will only have 2,000 copies available worldwide.
Details regarding cost of this TV-on-DVD set were not given but it is expected to be in the range of $400 - $500, based on research of similar complete series sets. The announcement, however, has caused some uproar on social media tonight. Fans of the show who shelled out almost $300 for the 7-season box set released last fall through Time Life/StarVista are not too happy with the company's double-dipping strategy. No official response has been given but knowing Shout! Factory's history with releasing products, it's more than likely the company will issue individual sets for seasons 8 through 20.
Power Rangers fans: Sound off about this news? Would you pay whatever the final price will be for this set? Comment below and remember to Stay Tuned for more news from SDCC2013!
